Is there local co-op / couch co-op?
Yes, Backyard Baseball supports local co-op. Local Multiplayer supports 2 players for Pick-Up Game, Wiggle Ball, and Backyard Derby
Is there online co-op? // When will there be online co-op?
Both local multiplayer and online multiplayer (once it becomes available) are designed to be 1v1, head to head. Players will be required to play against each other, not on the same team.
Will there be online crossplay? // When will there be online crossplay?
Online Multiplayer is currently planned as a post-launch feature and is not available at launch. Because of this, online crossplay is also unavailable at launch.
When Online Multiplayer becomes available, Windows PC and Mac players are planned to be able to play together. Cross-platform play between PC and consoles is on our roadmap, but it will not be available immediately upon the console launch as we first prioritize platform stability. For updates on online mode, crossplay, and more please follow our socials and subscribe to our newsletter through BackyardBaseball.com.
Are mixed inputs supported for local co-op?
Yes. The game supports mixed input devices for local co-op, allowing players to use controllers, keyboard, and mouse simultaneously.
