Can we save our games mid-progress?
Yes. The game supports automatic saves and manual saves. Automatic saves occur during key moments, such as at the start/end of games, between innings and half-innings, and after important setup changes. Manual saves allow players to save progress mid-inning, except in Backyard Derby, Batting Practice, Tutorial Mode, and Local Play.
Where do I find my save data?
PC save data is stored locally via Unity's registry entry (HKCU\Software\Megacat Studios\Backyard Derby HD) and LocalLow files
Will cloud saves be available across devices?
Yes. Steam Cloud support allows saves to sync across Steam-supported platforms, including Windows, Mac, and Steam Deck.
My controller isn't being recognized — how do I fix it?
Ensure you are not running conflicting programs like Steam Input if using standalone Bluetooth controllers. Third-party Switch controllers are a known issue and currently only detect left analog stick inputs
